I have a Navien tankless and absolutely love it!! You do need annual maintenance to descale it which at the time of this post, costs around $149. It is something you can also learn to do on your own. We would do the first one with you and then teach you how to do it yourself. However, we offer a lifetime labor warranty when you descale your water heater as the manufacturer suggests. It makes it well worth it to let us maintain it for you. Every five years you need to do a full cleaning, descale and inspection
